Be thankful

November - Be thankful. I am pretty appreciative of people and the things they say or do for me but I could always do better. Here are my checklist items.

I know I did a gratitude journal in March but it wouldn't hurt to do one here. I'll update it every day so check back! I like the second one because basically, it means that I need to go out of my way for someone every day so that they are grateful for my friendship/kindness etc...Doing things for others makes me feel good which may be selfish in the end. But it still counts.

November 1 - I am grateful for finding the program I found to get my extra credits so I can get a raise. First class was tonight.

November 2 - I am grateful that I found a great second job as a nanny with awesome hours after my real job that is in my neighborhood.

November 3 - I am grateful that friends are still getting married and that I am blessed enough to be invited to them. I love weddings.

November 4 - I am grateful to have a second family that meets frequently to celebrate birthdays.

November 5 - I am grateful for excellent friends and family who step up when you need them most.

November 6 - I am grateful that I am able to vote, even to turn in a partially blank ballot. I am grateful that I can do this without being murdered, jailed or beaten. And I am grateful that even though I don't like my choices, I have a choice.

November 7 - I am grateful that even though I am weak, I have people who can be strong for me when I need it. I am thankful for an amazing church small group.

November 8 - I am thankful for time passing quickly when you need it to.

November 9 - I am grateful for good friends who help when badly needed. :)

November 10 - I am thankful that I am really good at compartmentalizing and can volunteer when stressed.

November 11 - I am thankful for Veterans fighting for all of the freedoms I have.

November 12 - I am grateful for awesome family members who are able to get things done when I can't.

November 13 - I am grateful that even though my overall GPA in high school was a 3.6 and a 3.5 in college, I have maintained a 4.0 through a masters program and beyond to the 13 credits I've completed after.

November 14 - I am grateful for belonging to a great small group where I feel included and safe. I am also grateful that 4 years ago today I started dating Scott.

November 15 - I am grateful for finding the graduate program I found where I can take really good classes where I have tons of useful information, taught by great professors and for a cheap price.

November 16 - I am grateful that I am capable at standing up for myself when someone falsely accuses me of something. And for being able to prove when I am right. :)

November 17 - I am grateful for being able to enjoy a silly movie and having it motivate. I am also really grateful to be part of an awesome book club that I look forward to going to that's filled with wonderful women.

November 18 - I am grateful for a really great church that I belong to that makes me feel like I am getting something out of the messages. I am also grateful for a stable family

November 25 - I am thankful for a husband who loves celebrating his birthday and for family and friends who understand that.

November 26 - I am grateful for small, thoughtful, unexpected gestures.

November 27 - I am grateful that the school I work for understands when emergencies come up.

November 28 - I am grateful that 4 years ago today the story of Scott and I officially began.

November 29 - I am grateful for having dental insurance even if it means I have to get painful procedures done.
