Beach

I tend to get a little claustrophobic in the summer in the house so sometimes I need to take mini trips or I'll go out of my mind. Today I decided that since I've never really been to the Cape, I'd go there. Yes, I have been to Cape Cod. My ex-step-grandma brought me once and I went once in March 2009 but we didn't really do anything touristy/Cape-Cody. So I decided to go to a Cape Cod Beach, specifically Race Point Beach. It was described to me as warm water, white sand and Caribbean blue water. All were true. I loved it. It's too bad it's 2.5 hours away or I'd go all the time. The only thing I really require in a good beach is that the water is warm. And by warm I mean I can go in it without my ankles seizing up from cold. My favorite beach, Good Harbor, is like that and it's sad. Highly recommend Race Point. Plus it's only $15 to park where some other beaches are $25+. Another reason for going is that I said I wanted to go to the beach a lot more this summer. Mission accomplished. Plus I'll be at the beach next weekend for Scott's sister's wedding!
